Mr. Md. Joynal Abdin is a Development Researcher, Columnist
and Author. He is serving at DCCI Business Institute (DBI) as
Executive Director. At the same time he is looking after a part of
research based activities of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (DCCI) as Additional Secretary. Previously he
served at Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Section of SME
Foundation as Deputy Manager (July 24, 2014 – June 30, 2017),
Policy Advocacy and Research Wing of SME Foundation as
Programme Officer (August 18, 2010 to July 23, 2014), and at
the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and
Industry (FBCCI) as Assistant Secretary (March 01, 2008 –
August 17, 2010) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

He is a member of the Editorial Board for the ‘Journal of

reviewers for the ‘British Journal of Economics, Management
